Is my money safe at the Credit Union?
Absolutely. The Credit Union has a long history of safety and soundness dating back to 1936. We’re insured by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA) and funds on deposit are insured up to $250,000 and may be eligible for additional coverage on accounts with joint owners and beneficiaries. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) protects members’ accounts in federally insured credit unions, in the unlikely event of a credit union failure. The NCUSIF covers the balance of each member’s account, dollar-for-dollar up to the insurance limit.
What if my deposit exceeds $250,000?
